Professional Staff

Our team is composed of certified and experienced childcare professionals dedicated to your child's growth. All Staff are Experienced in the Early Childhood Field. All Teachers and staff will have to surpass a Background and Fingerprint Check in order to work with our children. All Great Expectations staff will also need to have updated DCFS trainings Certificates and have Efoodhandlers card, Food Manager certificate, CPR/AED Certificate to be qualified. Our staff will have lesson plan trainings in our center every week and will have professional guidance on how to create effective lesson plans and curriculum for each classroom. Staff has a consistent schedule when working with the students in our program. Parents will be informed of student's progress at all times by using our parent pro care: childcare Ap.

Safe Environment

We prioritize safety with secure facilities and a caring atmosphere. Children are monitored throughout the day by upper management. We have several camaras throughout the building that are recording at all times. We provide a safe and calm environment for children. We have a " Be Great" Program That helps children learn about Healthy habits and Healthy Social-Emotional Relashionships with the world around them. This program is free to children and all based on Child related lesson plans. The lesson plans are used for a positive impact in our student's life helping them develop strong self- esteem, confidence and relationships with themselves and with others. We practice gratitude and kindness with our Great Expectations Early childhood Mascots. The Early Childhood Mascots are unique characters we have created to keep the children engaged and focused. These Mascots are actual staff that dress up to teach the lesson plans as fun characters for children.

Educational Programs

Our curriculum focuses on early childhood development and interactive learning. We practice Math, Reading, Science and writing. At Great Expectations We offer Yoga and soccer for children during the week schedule that children are in the center. Great Expectations also offer’s a program called "Reaching for the Stars" this program thrives using educational games based on each child’s academic reading,math level to help keep track of our student's academic progress. Our Children also have field trips throughout the year, and classes go to the library every Thursday to learn computers and navigate and explore new books and to enjoy the local library educational resources. Our goal is at Great Expectations is to keep our students actively learning at our center.

FAMILY GAME NIGHTS AT GREAT EXPECTATIONS

Family nights are every other Friday! All families are welcome to play games and enjoy quality time with children and staff. We want parents to have a close relationship with our team and allow other family members to also be a part of our student's pathways to success. It takes a village to raise little ones they need our support and love to be great !

Enrichment Programs are available to all students who are enrolled in our center. We offer Several fun activities such as Soccer. Every Wednesdays we have soccer practice. All games are once a month, and parents can Join to see the Children Play and support our "Little Great Giants" team. Parents will be informed about games and all Enrichment program forms must be signed by parents for students to participate. We also have Yoga and Meditation on Mondays and on Fridays We have Music Class! Children do all things music, sing, play, learn about instruments and play musical games in class. All Material Used in any Enrichment Program will be provided by Great Expectations.
